Bangui, Central African Republic, 5 March 2010 “Together we can end extreme poverty and hunger” was the promise made by the Central African Guides during their day of reflection at Centre Jean XXIII in Bangui, which was held on Saturday, 6 March 2010 with technical support from the UNDP.
Girl Guides and Girl Scouts celebrate 100 years of changing lives
10 April 2010, the 100th day of the year, marks the first Centenary Celebration Day for international Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting. International centenary celebrations will focus on changing lives. An estimated 250 million lives have been changed so far through the Movement – through community action, advocacy and leadership development.

Report on Thinking Day 2010
On Saturday 27 February 2010, the Catholic Guide Association of the Ivory Coast invited its members to celebrate Thinking Day under the theme of "together we can end extreme poverty and hunger".

Commemorate members of the Ivory Coast Girl Guides and Girl Scouts who have died up to the day of the Opening Ceremony of the Centenary Celebrations, April 10, 2010. It should be noted that Catholic Guides, and the Lay, Muslim and Hariste Girl Scouts were all invited to the ceremony and responded to the call by the Federal Commissioner.
