Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting committed to MDG 1 in Central African Republic- Bangui, Central African Republic, 5 March 2010 “Together we can end extreme poverty and hunger” was the promise made by the Central African Guides during their day of reflection at Centre Jean XXIII in Bangui, which was held on Saturday, 6 March 2010 with technical support from the UNDP.
Las Guías Scouts celebran ‘100 años cambiando vidas’- Las celebraciones internacionales del centenario se enfocarán en ‘cambiando vidas’. Se calcula que hasta ahora se han cambiado 250 millones de vidas a través del Movimiento – mediante la acción comunitaria, la propugnación y el desarrollo de liderazgo.
Mensajes del centenario
- La Presidenta del Consejo Mundial de la AMGS, Margaret Treloar, ha grabado un mensaje especial del centenario para las Guías Scouts de todo el mundo. A Margaret se le unen voluntarias del Consejo Mundial y de Pax Lodge. La honorable política australiana, Kay Patterson, también ha producido un mensaje especial del centenario para nuestros miembros.
Report on Thinking Day 2010- On Saturday 27 February 2010, the Catholic Guide Association of the Ivory Coast invited its members to celebrate Thinking Day under the theme of "together we can end extreme poverty and hunger".
Opening Ceremony, Centenary Celebrations Phase 1, Ivory Coast Federation of Female Scouting- Commemorate members of the Ivory Coast Girl Guides and Girl Scouts who have died up to the day of the Opening Ceremony of the Centenary Celebrations, April 10, 2010. It should be noted that Catholic Guides, and the Lay, Muslim and Hariste Girl Scouts were all invited to the ceremony and responded to the call by the Federal Commissioner.
